Who Can Apply for Canadian Citizenship

There are certain requirements to be met in order for your foreign fiancee to apply for Canadian Citizenship:

• She needs to be at least 18 years old
• She needs to hold a permanent resident status
• She needs to have lived in Canada three years out of the past four years.
• She needs to have adequate knowledge of either English and French
• She needs to have no criminal convictions in the three years before she applies
